It is indeed galvanically isolated - but only for low frequencies. They have not RF isolated the output as the grounds are connected with capacitors, so from a SQ POV consider it not galavanically isolated as the SQ problems are mostly RF issues.
It might be me but I can't see a case in that post. Did you mean in this thread?
I have a feeling (hope) that the original Hugo case may be usable with Hugo 2, at least until there's a new one for it with its own "Poly" (did I read that it's going to be called '2Go'?).

look at the posters picture - it shows a pair of hands holding a Hugo2.
I think the Hugo1 and Hugo2 are essentially the same case dimentions, so in theory you could use the same case.
Unfortunately you will probably have to cut some additional holes, to see all the balls, and access all the sockets - but this could still be a workable short term solution for some users.
Yes the H2 poly will be called 2Go, but your guess is as good as mine regarding the launch date.
I think some posts have mentioned a few months after the H2 release date, so maybe the target is the Christmas market, but I suspect a launch date of CES 2018 may be more realistic.
Curious that since the Hugo2 case was already redesigned why couldn't they fit the Poly innards already inside so there could be a single form factor case with full functionality of Hugo2/2GO?
My secret is to knead some grated parmesan cheese into the ground meat. Then some blue cheese on top of the medium-well patties.
Brioche bread works fine with that.
I'm currently in the process of preparing two very generous helpings for myself.
I can't make up my mind about getting a new USB A to USB Micro or go with my old Supra cable with an adapter. The cable I was thinking of buying to the Hugo 2 is a Nordost Purple Flare USB:

I have been running the Mojo with a cheap USB micro cable for a while because I simply can't make up my mind. There are very few USB A to USB Micro choices for the moment.
That 'review' was in a noisy environment using open backed headphones and where kyle1010 admitted that the noise even made it difficult to distinguish between the filters ("very hard to tell major differences (between the filters) in the noisy room with open back LCD-4s".
So comments such as, "Midrange clarity, tonality, and texture are within +/- 5% difference if that..I really couldn't hear much difference if at all" need to be taken with the appropriate pinch of salt. In other words, don't go ordering a Hugo 2 based on that!
Good points. I did crank up the volume on both units to overcome most of the room noise, which wasn't really that bad in Chord's back corner, but yeah this wasn't as critical of a listen as absolutely possible. However, it was definitely enough to discern any major differences between Hugo 2 and Dave, which weren't many. I listened to my most known tracks with plenty of microdynamics and could hear them crystal clear through both.
Also, yesterday I did another shootout Hugo 2 vs WA8 with my Campfire Vega IEMs in the much quieter Woo Audio room and still couldn't hear much difference in the filter settings of Hugo 2..they're very subtle. Dac vs dac that wasn't really a fair fight but still fun nevertheless. Hugo 2 was the obvious winner by a landslide, but WA8 still had that intoxicatingly beautiful tube sound. Oh man, let me just say Hugo 2 is jaw dropping good with IEMs..especially the Vega. It produces out of head imaging so well I couldn't stop smiling. Is it perfect? No. But I'll say this..the only DACs at CanJam that sounded better than Hugo 2 were Dave, the built in dac for the Sennheiser HE-1, and the BMW 3 series priced dac a certain tube amp company was using for their new product lol. Kitsune's Spring dac and Mytek Brooklyn deserve honorable mention though. Yggdrasil..back to the drawing board you must go..much to learn you have *yoda voice*
Oh yeah, before I forget, I gotta thank Jude for letting me borrow his Hugo 2 to do the WA8 shootout. Such a cool dude!

It's possible that it would increase the price too much for people who may not want the functionality of the 2go. I don't know much-if anything-about the Poly, but if it focuses more on wireless connectivity and streaming, and if the 2go does the same, it's not really for me. If it uses microSD cards for storage, but uses a screen rather than tactile controls, it's not useful in my case. So, I'd prefer things as Chord designed them. When 2go comes out, I'll make up my mind. But, the Hugo2 as it stands, is fine without all that extra stuff that may not be useful as well as drive the price too high.
