I just wish they'd drop a small update about it, so we can even know what to expet. I know they're coming out with their high-end statement amp/preamp setup based somewhat on the Etude. But, a little encouraging news might go a long way.Maybe it is the time to remember the 2Go...

If they do I sure hope they splurge on heatsinks. Is the Etude high end anyway? Fan cooled with a switch mode power supply.
I can't recal what the name of the series is. But it's about $140,000: or LBs, not sure. But I think the tech was based on the feed forward implementation from the Etude. I can't remember any more.If they do I sure hope they splurge on heatsinks. Is the Etude high end anyway? Fan cooled with a switch mode power supply.

Quoted from below: "There is a solution — however: all you need to do is switch off Mac’s ability to set the date and time automatically through System Preferences, and it will stop the system time daemon from messing with your audio streams".

This has helped some, not helped others. Definitely worth a try of course @Sound Eq
This Pro Audio guy has given up on Apple altogether for this bug and other issues.

So what is wrong with well executed SMPS? Are Dave and Blu2 not high end in your view because they use SMPS?

Can someone recommend a classical piece & the recording that they’ve used to test H2 filter change? Thanks...

could they fix those issues with software updates, or is it a doomed hardware issue that can not be solved at all for existing macbook pro 2018 owners

Pretty sure Apple is trying to fix this with a software update.
It affects a lot more hardware than just Macbook Pro 2018 owners...
Anyway, you're definitely not alone. Fingers crossed a software fix comes soon.

Can anybody give the power output at 16 ohms
Dick Hyman, Thinking about Bix. You can hear how the imaging of the piano becomes a bit sloppy with an undefined spreading bass, positionally. Can someone recommend a classical piece & the recording that they’ve used to test H2 filter change? Thanks...

Somewhere between 740 mW 33 ohms to 1050 mW 8 ohms.
Technical question from a new Hugo 2 owner :
to connect Hugo 2 with a DAP (for me Sony WM1Z and Pioneer XDP300R), am I right thinking the best quality comes with USB ?
