Hello

I am searching for hours now am not able to find out if If "I" am the problem, or me loved Mojo/Poly:

I cannot achieve streaming Qobuz or Tidal the way CHORD explaines it here:
https://chordelectronics.co.uk/faqs-category/streamers/ with TIDAL and QOBUZ connecting

I get the error “Service login or communication failure” both in 8Player and in Mconnect.



Trying a lot did not help (quality settings, factory reset of Poly and Iphone and different routers, latest versions of IOS and Gofigure).

The only way I am able to stream hires is to login to Qobuz dierctly in Mconnect (NOT using the Poly-Renderer).
But for me this is not a good or useful solution.


Is there any fix or Info I wasn't able to find in this thread yet?

Yeah this is on the latest firmware and iOS version of GoFigure.

Next, check your internet settings—simplify them by turning off various filters, etc.

This was helpful advice from both the internet provider and dealer.

I decided to give the duo another go as an on the go device. Really happy with big brothers Hugo2Go so I hope that the third time will be the charm.

Getting it tomorrow and hoping it will sound as good as I remember it!
Meanwhile I am doing some burning in of my freshly arrived MMR Thummim, which sound awesome on Chord gear thus far.

Roon playback through Poly has been great all day today. Not a single hitch after a very prolonged listening period.

My unit arrived with the latest firmware so I can imagine that it is a recent revision. Pretty happy so far!

Hi Guys,

Hopefully someone can help I am a bit baffled, I just got my replacement Poly and have sent it up with my Mojo. I have indexed my SD Card and it shows songs 4,901 , capacity 366.79 GB, free space 180.23 GB, App Version 2.05 (4) and version 2.0.4

I have just refreshed current SD Card Database, however via Glider it is showing I have 6.8 songs and the MDP player is showing 4.901 whips is correct and is the same as what shows thru Go Figure App, furthermore what is really strange when I play some albums say the Rolling Stones live it will play the tracks but bizarrely show different album art and a track from that particular album like Steely Dan.

Plus under Network Sources it will show the name of my Poly and also a MPD player with a number again they both show a difference of 1,000 songs, my Poly shows more

Any help will be appreciated,

If that happened to me, the first thing I'd do is look at the tags of the individual files in a tag editor to make sure all the tags are set properly. After confirming it, I'd delete the dbase files on the mSD card. Then I'd rebuild it in GoFigure. Then fully delete Glider from my iPhone and re-install it.

I always had that happen too. There would be a "MPD server" showing up with an IP address, and then Poly separately, with different file counts for each. I would have to go in to the settings and switch off syncing from the MPD server.

I noticed at various points that some tracks would be missing from an album on the poly SD card. After a bit of figuring out I've realized that in Rigelian tracks and also whole albums are missing when there is an accent or similar in the filename or track metadata (I'm not sure which as if the song has an accent in the name it's in the filename as well as track info metadata). They show up in Glider so it seems to be a Rigelian issue rather than Poly not indexing the files. I'll put a request into their support and see what comes back.

Just to update on this, I contacted Rigelian and sent them through a file with the diagnostic info. It was quite simple to look through the info myself too. Seems that the issue is having special characters in the file names. In the tag is okay, so I'll just have to rename the files. Rigelian thought it was a Poly/GoFigure issue but since it worked in Glider I'm not sure. The workaround of renaming files is easy enough.

This is a new Poly and I am slightly confused. My I Phone is right next to my Mojo/Poly combination and this keeps happening plus these are the settings I have showing at present.

Any help fully appreciated, maybe rather that waste nearly £1,000 I should have just purchased a Dap like the Lotto Paw 6000, glad I haven't purchased a 2 Go yet, at least I can even stream music from a Shangling Mo that cost £100 to my Hugo 2 using Bluetooth no problem but the Chord /Mojo that costs nearly £1,000 doesn't even connect again.

Have you tried force quitting the app?
