Close to 8 months on from sale, I'm finally summoning-up the patience to sit down and structure a proper real-world review from a day-1 user, warts and all - doing so because they're really aren't any super considered ones out there yet in my opinion. As an Android user sadly I still don't have any experience as to how the app works yet, so think it's important for the majority of people who use that platform understand what daily life is like - which isn't terrible by any means, just takes some workarounds.

I'm really sorry for the wrong info - got confused - Poly cant play DSD from its internal SD card over DLNA - I think that's right!

so the white light doesnt signify that the DSD file from the micro SD card is being played as DSD?

After all the fits and starts, struggling to make things work consistently, because the sound quality is great, I think I'm finally settling down and getting happier and happier with the Poly/Mojo combo.

Still a little irritated that there aren't quick control physical buttons (for no-look ff/rw/play/pause), and I continue to want GoFigure to do more because it's the only way to play music in airplane mode (and also sort playlists in alphabetical order), things are at least starting to work a little bit more consistently and almost pleasantly.

While I like the features in 8 player more, Glider is starting to grow on me. Hiby iOS app can also see the MP, but it's not quite where I'd like it to be.

At this point, I can say that while I like the features in the Hiby R6, the sound quality issues are starting to annoy me a little here and there, and the consistent quality of MP's music (and avoidance of bits of distortion and static and little ticks) on the MP are making it increasingly attractive.

Maybe, just maybe, my mind is changing and the high price and glitches and learning curve of the MP might, possibly, have been worth the hassle.

Combined with the KSE1200, it's quite hard to believe that such sound profiles are possible with a system this compact.
