Hi,

I've juste bought a Mojo Poly, did all updates and everything works well except SD card Management.
My SD card is EXFAT. I've just dragged and dropped flac files on it from my Macbook and then inserted it in Poly. When I open GoFigure App :
> In settings : the app knows how many songs there are on the sd card BUT
> When I launch quickplay through GoFigure : It tells me that no playlist have been found.

My goal is to use the iphone as a remote for the sd card that is in Poly, only through Bluetooth...

I cannot find any clue on GoFigure user manual... Please help me :)
Have you actually created a playlist, or just copied music files to the sd?

You need to make 1 or more MPD playlists. GoFigure can't play tracks directly.

Can they just add play/pause to the MojoPoly itself? It's a pain to connect with a phone every time I wanna play music. If need they can remove that Volume+/- to "DIM" for play/pause. I've use that DIM for 1 time when I received my Mojo last year.

That's never gonna happen. It was designed to have a separate phone/tablet/etc front end from the get-go.

Install Cantata and connect with it directly to your Poly’s IP address and you will be able to create playlists that are recognised by GoFigure.
The link for Cantata was posted a few pages back.

I'm using MALP on my Android phone and it is quick, solid and reliable. It is not feature rich but i like it. The only issue I'm having is I cannot see any cover art. I tried Musicbrainz but still nothing. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

Thanks
On mine it just works and grabs images from the net. There's an option in the settings to clear blank images and redownload all artwork. Maybe try that?

Use glider it works better, I was having same problem with gofigure reading playlist. I only use gofigure for setting

Didn't know there was Glider for Android.

So the issue becomes you need to actively charge it just before using versus charging then just using when you want afterwards. Quirky. But sound good. But still a work in progress even after the app IMHO.

Happens like this, mojo poly connected together, I plug charger into poly and it charges both devices.

The white charging lights turn off on both devices, the blue light on poly comes on and stays on aslong as the charger is connected to it.

When both white charging lights go out, if I were to then unplug the charger and use mojo poly, poly will always be the one who runs out of battery first.

However, when both white charging lights go out and polys blue light turns on, if I unplug the charger and then reconnect it, poly and only poly starts recharging and will stay that way atleast for 1 hour.

If I then use mojo poly, Polys battery will last longer than mojos, as it should per chords instructions/manual.

It may possibly be best to charge both devices on their own ? But now that I have the van nuys cases, I dont want to keep inserting and removing them as it will with time, make the case easier for mojo and poly to fall out if it was upside down.

I am happy with how long both devices last for when fully charged, 8 hours on both is easy.

A while back, I had turned them both off at the 8 hour mark and I could of easily of got atleast 1 more hour, possibly 2 out of both devices.

Can you point me in the direction of how to create an MPD playlist? With GoFigure for Android (allegedly) imminent, I'm thinking this might be worth figuring out...
I use cantata on pc, you should search the thread for ‘mac’ or ‘wiki’ as there’s a wiki with playlist tools mentioned.

It is rather simple but has to be constructed right otherwise no luck playing anything.

Open up a simple txt document and start typing track filenames.(ext) on each new line. If you place them in a folder write (foldername) / (trackname.ext)
Make sure its / not \
Finally save that file with m3u extension
Also keep playlists in a root directory of your sd card.
Go to you general settings in Gofigure and see if it is showing playlists as discoverable.
Then fire up QuickPlay
QP results in the cleanest sound signature MojoPoly can produce so far.
