I have mojo 2 and I bought more poly
Before using Poly, my Mojo 2 connected to my Laptop and worked great
However, after using it with Poly, the device's volume becomes very low
Even when I removed the poly and just used the Mojo 2 as before, the volume was still very low
Has anyone ever had this problem and how to fix it?
Make sure whatever app you are using to control Poly and feed music is set to “bit perfect” or full volume. Then use the Mojo volume buttons to control the volume. That will give you the best sound quality.

Thanks for replying!
Is there any way to completely reset Mojo 2?
when i say software issue, i mean that the volume on your computer or in the application you're using might be low.

They say specifically that the volume remains low when not using the poly.

My Macbook always resets Mojo2/Pily volume to minimum. Just add volume on your laptop.
Really? My Mac always sets it to maximum as the Mojo2 volume can't be controlled from the Mac. How weird!

Are you using Poly?
Not until tomorrow when it arrives. USB connection. Does the volume control change if I Airplay to the Poly?

Ah I see. Of course it's treating the Poly as any other Airplay device. You could try writing a small Automation that checks if you're connected to the Poly and then sets the volume to 100%

Actually, scrub that. There isn't an 'Automations' option on Mac...only on the iPhone.
It would need an AppleScript and I've no idea how to do that

There's a Mac app called Automator that might be able to do what you want.

I did have a look at that but for the life of me can't figure it out. I made an Automator script in the past but can't recall how to do it now

In System Settings, go to Sound. then click on Output. Your Poly will show up there. Set the Output volume all the way to the right. That should set the default volume to 100%.

Of course, AirPlay limits the res to 16/44. You would need to use different software and a network connection to get a higher res.

Tried that but sadly when you switch back to MacBook Pro Speakers, the volume stays at 100%. If you turn down the volume then switch back to Poly, the volume stays low. The description of BitPerfect in the GoFigure app doesn't do what it describes either. It should solve the issue but doesn't.

A bit of help for a new Poly user please:
In order to Airplay to the Poly from a Mac, do I always need to select the Poly from the global Output Device setting or should I be able to select the Poly from the Music App instead?
When I use the Music app to select it, it does switch to the Poly but with a regular break-up of the audio every second or so. It doesn't act the way my other Airplay devices work.
What should I expect?
