Hi there, has anyone experiences drop outs in the connection of the 2go? As in it plays the first few seconds of a song and then skips to the next one until it fails.
Specifically, I'm using it as Roon endpoint fed by FLAC files stored on my NAS (the speed of my home network is normally excellent).
Does your Roon work with other endpoints OK? I usually use the wired connection on 2Go but Wifi works fine too. I did have an issue similar to the one you are describing when I tried the Roon smart playlists feature but I turned that off and its fine now.

Is your Roon Core on Ethernet?
Roon tends to work better when the Core is wired, which is what Roon recommends. (because wifi is only half-duplex whereas Ethernet is full-duplex and Roon is very demanding on the Network)
I had your issue repeatedly until I put my core on Ethernet - this despite having a decent Asus router that was located less than 2 feet from my Roon Core PC and no other homes near me.
I still get occasional dropouts (With 2Go only. Other endpoints are fine) with the Core wired but not often. Restarting my router and Core usually resolves it for a while.

Yes, very common because 2go uses the very congested 2.4GHz band, where bursty packet loss is common from interfering networks nearby. Roon RAAT does not like that at all because it is optimized for low-latency synchronous play that can't accept higher packet retransmit delays. I've given up on using my 2go in the congested city wifi environment, and exiled it to the country, where I can use it outdoors because neighbors are sparse and far away.

Roon works much better with the Core connected via Ethernet. Wifi can cause dropouts due to its half-duplex nature, while Ethernet offers more reliable, full-duplex performance. I had similar issues until I switched to Ethernet, even with a good router nearby. Occasionally, I still get dropouts with 2Go
no, i actually dont know of this product im actually about to blindbuy a hugo 2 2go but the seller says the 2go suffers a wirelessdropout, its only 1k usd for both so not bad for blindbuy

the dropouts can be alleviated with a really good WiFi network and some channel configuration to reduce collisions with neighboring networks, but overall, I'd not buy one even for $1K for WiFi use. It works great as an Ethernet DAC/amp, though
