I'm also having difficulties updating my just purchased 2go from v1.5.7 to v1.6.0..., it looks like it completed the update process but shows 1.5.7 after multiple attemtps.
Sad that this did not went as smoothly as my Poly..
Suggest you reach out to Soundorg. PM and i can send you a contact. That was the same issue for me, looked like it went thru and then go back and check and still shows old Firmware.

Thanks for the info, I reached out to chord support and they mentioned they’re aware that the update server is down right now and will notify through GoFigure / official website once it’s resolved. Guess we have to wait for the official server to be back up :(

FYI, last year (March 2024), when I tried updating, I was told there were server issues that should be resolved in the coming weeks and here we are a year later and still no luck. I got tired of waiting and hence reached out to Soundorg and from my discussions with them (and as noted in this thread), many have also sent their units in to have the firmware updated.

Unfortunately, Soundorg was unable to update the firmware and had to send the 2go to Chord

A few basic questions

- can the 2go be controlled by bluetooth only for file playback? (I dont want to use Wifi)
- can the 2go be used as ddc? (usb in - relcocking - usb out)?
- does the iOS App run on macOS? (M-Processors)

The obvious question here is, do you really need the 2Go? If it is to be used with with Bluetooth Hugo2 can do that out of the box.
If it is connected directly attached with USB, Hugo2 can do that, 2Go is not a reclocker!
If GoFigure, work with MacOS, maybe with an iOS emulator

I would use it with an 2yu (USB and digital out) in a desktop system as well. I don’t use a Hugo. I just like battery power and sd card playback.

I’ve had huge issues connecting GoFigure to my 2Go but was happily using my gear for months without issue as I didn’t really care about upgrading the firmware. Now I’ve got a new router and my Hugo 2Go is a very expensive brick, because I can’t connect to enter my new wifi password. It’s utterly infuriating.

Have you tried to set it up with a lan cable connected? I have also found that the initial pairing with bluetooth only works when the usb cable is not connected.

GoFigure communicates via bluetooth.
If your 2go is configured to be searching for (or transmitting) something else, eg WiFi, then they will never find each other.
Something fundamental to check.
