i orderd the v1's a week ago, hope to get them soon. If i dont find the treble disturbing ill stick with the v1, if i find the treble to much i will also get the v2's.
I also have a dac with headphone amplifier on the way, the FX-AUDIO DAC-X6 MINI
To be honest I have the V1 and i don't find the treble disturbing in any of the 3 settings

The Brainwavz HM5 are made by Yoga, the specific Yoga model number is CD-880:

http://www.yoga.com.tw/en/product-292588/Monitor-headphones-CD-880.html

It's available badged by other companies too, such as the Fischer Audio FA-003. Frequency response and other measurements on it can be found at these sites:

https://reference-audio-analyzer.pro/en/report/hp/fischer-audio-fa-003.php
http://en.goldenears.net/15167
https://www.innerfidelity.com/images/FischerAudioFA003.pdf

Least expensive variant right now is the NVX XPT100 at $79 (in case you or anyone else doesn't have the HM5 but is looking for a deal on a pair):

https://www.amazon.com/NVX-Over-Ear-Headphones-ComfortMax-XPT100/dp/B0093PVTPS/

There is also an open-back version, the Yoga CD-990:

http://www.yoga.com.tw/en/product-292590/Open-back-monitor-headphones-CD-990.html

Frequency response and other measurements of the open back here:

https://reference-audio-analyzer.pro/en/report/hp/fischer-audio-fa-002.php

Basically more sub-bass, flatter bass response, dip around 1k, bigger rise at 5k, big dip at 10k with a moderate recovery then another dip at 20k vs the closed CD-880. In case you are interested in the open back model, variants include the Spadger CD-990 and the AIZER AZ-A700. Both have been available close to $50 from Amazon in the past, but not right now.

If you're looking for something specifically from China that isn't the CD-880/990 and that costs around $50, take a look at the Takstar Pro 82 if you're looking for something closed. It has a physical design 'inspired' by the Sony MDR-1A (and is as comfortable), but is aiming for more of a monitor/reference type sound. Some measurements can be found here:

https://diyaudioheaven.wordpress.com/headphones/measurements/takstar-pro-82/

Also for about $50 you can find the Superlux HD662-EVO:

https://diyaudioheaven.wordpress.com/headphones/measurements/brand-superlux/hd662-evo-2/

If you're on a real budget, if you look around you can sometimes find a deal on the Tascam TH-300x/Roland RH-300/CAD Audio MH320/Eagletone Original First/Fiveo PH1000/Harlan Hogan VO-HP/Limitless Creations HP3BK/LyxPro HAS-10/Marantz MPH-3/Neewer NW-3000/Omnitronic SHP-900/Studiomaster H5 for between $25-50, depending. Measurements here:

https://diyaudioheaven.wordpress.com/headphones/measurements/roland-rh-300/

For semi-open, consider the Samson SR850 for ($33 right now on Amazon):

https://penonaudio.com/earphones/headphone/1more-mk801.html

these are available for 56$

are 1more mk801 good?
any flaws?

I own them. Amazon had them for $32 about a month ago. They may even still be that price.

The stock pads are ridiculously small (they are on ears). Luckily HM5 pads fit perfectly. As @mbwilson111 said, the clamp might be tight depending on the size of your head. It can be adjusted though. The headband is titanium, and is tough as nails. The cups are plastic.

I like em. They sound good. I use them for beaters. Note they don’t fold, even though they look like they are supposed to.

Everything has flaws though. Nothing is perfect.

There’s a number of Superlux models that would be good. I don’t personally own models like 668B, but they are legendary around HeadFi for the sound-per-dollar value they provide.

I plan to order a Bosshifi B8 (and possibly mod them/change drivers if needed), the wood Denon-like cups looks lovely and from what I´ve read, they sound surprisingly good.
Should I look no further guys? I am not able to read the whole thread, so sorry if I missed something :)

Yes, there are more models, but B8 and B7 are more tested and I don´t want to jump on something which is not tested already.
Also I like B8 smaller form factor, it is posiibly portable closed back headphone. I don´t need another big closed back as I have my Alpha Dogs :)
And the measurements of B8 looked really nice, I imagine after a few easy mods they can have near reference sound :xf_eek:

Take a look at the Sivga SV007.
