Just add your own chin slider

Huh?!?

But that's exactly what I have said in my linked post—that I've been making my own chin strap/slider. That's what I have on my Blue-themed C16. A simple silicone rubber band left over from when the kids had nothing on their minds but playing and toys and games. I keep forgetting to order those silicone switch o-rings.

You have to admit though, that nothing beats a gorgeous cable that comes with its very own strikingly beautiful glass or metal alloy ball slider. Hence, "...in lieu of a DIY chin strap...". That's what I have on my Silver-themed C10.

Cheers! :kissing_heart:

The CCA C16 are so far my personal best! When ever I want to really hear details and a lively soundstage, I throw these on for another level of listening experience!

Just ten years ago, anyone would have had to cough out much more cash to experience a hi-end sound signature like this. Truly a remarkable accomplishment and feat by CCA!

It's my preferred Iem too. And so far too. Completed with zs7 is the best combo so far for me

just got the revonext qt5 ( 1DD/1BA drivers).... listening on it for less than a hour now

my initial impressions it manages to sound like the CCA C10 / KZ ZSN with some resemblance to the Qt2 sound stage mixed together on a budget price..full-bodied mids with clarity, depth and soundstage are all good.. there is aural background effect ( due to depth) even though the soundstage seems to be more forward than the CCA 10 or ZSN with average height and depth
..it will sound like a good deal for that price for the untrained ear

however the fit is tricky as it abit loose on the ears.... the tips have to be changed to some other form the default ones to get a better sound,

A bit of niche use info about CCA C10. It's isolation characteristic, while fine for normal commuting, is not good enough on a passenger jet. Had to turn up the DAP volume to drown out the engine noise, which then made it too loud for me to doze off. I think the "breathing hole" is letting in too much noise. Switched to a spare "S-nf-r 4in1" with T400 foam to get quite close to ear-plug sound isolation; that worked fine. I think the AS06/AS10 form factor IEMs will also isolate well on a plane, will try that next.

Sorry, didn't try C16. Left it at home. Probably will be similar to AS06/AS10, as I think the 3 are of the same mechanical design. To be fair to C10, it's quite an extreme usage. I usually have quiet music playing while I sleep on the plane, so the isolation has to be quite exceptional.

CCA C16 has the perfect signature for me. Sounds clear with metal music, but it also has plenty of midbass kick to keep things enjoyable. When I'm not using my noise cancelling headphones, these are my new daily driver. They definitely sound noticeably better too despite being 1/3rd the price. 8BAs under $100 with great sound quality is quite the technical achievement and I look forward to Future CCA releases.

And how about the c16 isolation ?

Slightly better than as10. So it's very excellent
But they have more pressure in the ear which can unpleasant
