Something nicer made by Cayin 😉😅 Something more like a charging cradle.

With N8ii, you need to allocate a lot of space below the player, you have no idea some of the 4.4mm IEM cables they used in Hong Kong and China.

The magnetic hold won't cause any interference to the player. It will create interference when rub the player up and down on the magnetic plate. If you are holding it steadily, there shouldn't be any interference at all. You can test this with RU6, the leather case is magnet-ready.

Agreed. But wouldn't it be nice to have that from Cayin?

Cayin is incompetence when come to accessory design and manufacturing, we'll delegate this to the professional vendor unless there is no viable option from the market.

Honestly, I don’t like the idea of charging cradle. Doesn’t matter how good it is, it puts a lot of strains on the sockets. These sockets tolerances are very little compared to the angle and the weight that it could stand.

My wife uses a charging cradle for her IPhone, and in less than 5 months, the iPhone socket is so loose that it charge and stop charging randomly. I can tell that it physically isn’t as tight as my IPhone.

So, in a long run, a regular stand that allow cables to run in as a charger would be a lot better

I have to agree with you. I believe you need to have 6 inches clearence if you want to attached your USB charging cable to the bottom of your phone stress-free. 8-10 inches is probably right for 4.4mm headphone cable. That makes the cradle very bulky.

Ok. Just got this one from Etsy . If the front edge is high enough, it should work.

That one will not allow you to have the headphones plugs to go in . The FiiO one will be a great match

Ja, opening on bottom for cables and you can order extra stands directly from Fiio on Aliexpress.
Could you please provide a link ? Thanks mucho

I’ll pop my Nate 2 on the M17 stand (includes a built in fan - with on/off switch and 2 speeds - just connect it with a USB-C cable and power) when it arrives - see how well it works and hopefully the stand port opening aligns up.

This won't work for N8ii. This is designed for mobile phone at 10mm thick, the N8ii is far too thick to be placed into the holder, it will become vertical instead of inclined.

Here's some quick dusty office shots of the Fiio DK-3 ($40 from AliExpress Fiio) that's included with M17. Will update.
