Gorilla glass over Super AMOLED, 1020 x 1814 screen.
This picture could be cayin teasing us. Who knows, the next picture could reveal it has a edge to edge display.

At least i know China has the capability to make such a display at a very low cost.

OK, I just finished writing the press release of Cayin N8 DAP, its a standard quick introduction covering basic headings on input/outputs, digital design, and analogue design. If anyone can guess the key selling point of all three headings, I'll put you in the N8 reviewer list. :beerchug:

Everyone is entitled to one "proposal" only. You can post a new "proposal" to superseded your previous version, but you must not edit your previous proposal (well, typo and non-feature related editing is allowed). This is because when there are more then one proposal get it right, time stamp become an important factor.

I sincerely someone can figure this out and I am truly happy to hang him the N8 for a thorough review.
1. Hybrid Tube and Solid State Amplifier Design
2. FPGA processor chip is part of the digital circuit design
3. Proprietary OS (not andriod, not linux)

The HA-300 was terrific at Axpona Andy! I look forward to giving the new flagship DAP a listen.

How about this wish list:
* No screen whatsoever: the device is controlled remotely by a smartphone app - like your Sonos (and its ilk).
* Just play, pause, back, forward and volume. Maybe a power button too, I guess.
* Insane internal storage - options for 2TB or 4TB internal SSD - user upgradable.
* Dual micro sd card slots - just in case.
* Lovely battery life.
* Fully-debugged USB audio out put- up to DSD256 if not 512 plus DXD if not 768.
* Modular amplification options: single-ended, balanced, (micro-)tubes, none (digital-out only), etc.

Doody

Since we are in speculation mode, I would say 17 is on conservative side.
Wow, 1.5 Watts and still at least 17 hours of battery life.

This really is a very big achievement for cayin.

Edit: Now I'm a little worried it will weight as much as the WM1Z. Hopefully it's just really efficient and isn't simply packing a 10,000 mAh battery.
