For the record, THIS is the official Cayin store in Alliexpress, a legitimate online shop hosted by Cayin to cover locations where we don't have an authorized dealer, or when a product is not available through a local dealer.
Sadly that shop doesn't sell to germany

Iirc, A02 is a DAC/pre-amp only module. It won't drive headphones directly but it has a superior line out from the A01.

The E02 has a dedicated line out mode (as opposed to a dedicate line out port) but it’s balanced 4.4mm pentacon only so I’ve never personally used it on my N6ii. Amp-wise, it’s kind of the power beast of all the modules. It drives all my headphones well

HE-6? Susvaras? Maybe not so well (IME YMMV) but point is you can LO into an integrated amp and then you can get whatever extra you need power wise.

My own favorite is the R01 (4 R2R ladder smoothness), which does not have LO, but you can use the PO into an amp that is/has modality as a power amp and control volume from the N6mkii, eg cayin C9. I found also (at least with C9) that way more of the N6Mkii ‘sonic signature’ comes thru.

From what I was told, , we charge US$25 (¥160 RMB to be exact) to replace the N6ii battery, postage excluded.
hi Andy, I'm using N6ii Titan R01. I just bought Sennheiser HD660s headphones (150 Ohm impedance) and I find the DAP pulls quite well through the 4.4 balanced port without the need for AMP. I compared it with the AMP xduoo xd05 bal and I found that the strength is not too different with this headset. I even find that the sound quality of the N6ii Titan is a bit more prominent and detailed.
I think it plays well, the 3 mid treble bass bands are enough and quite good. I feel like if it was about 10% stronger it would be enough for the HD660s.I read and saw that there are people using Fiio BTR5 (240mW@32Ohms/ each channel with balanced port) and can even drive HD600 (300 Ohm).Do you think N6iiTi-R01 with 430 mW@32 Ohm with 4.4 balanced port is stronger than BTR5?
Do I need to buy an additional DAC/AMP? Is the DAP strong enough to drive the HD660s?
But this DAP doesn't have a lineput port, so how can I pair it with an AMP?
thank you

Can you show me a photo of you combining the DAP R01 and the amp? Do you not have a double amp? Thanks

Here you go, as you can see I connect the 4.4 mm interconnect from the N6MK2 to the similar 4.4 mm input port on the C9. To start preamp mode, you press the small button on the left side of the C9. Remember to do this before starting play, and be sure that the N6 MK2 volume is turned all the way down before doing so, to avoid the risk of blowing out your IEMs or your ears.

This is a great time to think about adding on the C9. The price has come down a lot from what it was a couple of years ago, and because the unit has swappable rechargeable batteries, it is likely to continue to be useful for some years, and can be played with any DAP that has 4.4 MM OR 3.5 MM outputs. As DAPs continue to improve, it will continue to prove a worthy companion amp. It is also well able to amplify easy to drive headphones, and is an excellent portable solution for when you need to travel.
