I just got an email from Andrew at Musicteck that my R-01 card will be shipping tomorrow!!

So everybody who is anxiously awaiting for their R-01, I imagine it should be on its way to you tomorrow, also.
Just wanted to share the good news with everyone!

Very airy and effortless. Like it isn’t t even trying, if that makes sense…?

Details were really good out of the box for me. The soundstage opened up quite a bit between 100-150 hrs and the amp started kicking harder. ymmv and all that. I initially thought it sounded a little small and intimate, but that changed, or I changed?

Very curious to find out if the R01 can drive the Empyrean as well as the E02 can. The E02 motherboard has a convincing amount of control over that driver, which was a pleasant surprise to me.

Acoustune HS1697ti from Japan. I was upgrading from Blessing 2 Dusk, the different is really day n nite. Better clarity and details.

First time run into something like this.

Can you check whether the bottom of the Audio Motherboard is aligned correctly? it should be flat like the left side of the diagram below.
