Agreed, I auditioned the Plenue L and it's very very good... now DAC chip are one thing, implementation is key but I trust Cayin there

Basically only the Pre Track button is out of reach, otherwise the Vannuys N8 case fit pretty well.

For the record, Dignis is working on a N6ii case, they just showed me the first prototype last week, hopefully we'll see more photo with material that closely assemble the final product in very near future.

Well. I don't usually use these side buttons.
Two options instead: UAPP + Fiio RM1 (remote bt control) or Hiby Music with Hiby Link via smartphone.

I finally decided to switch modules for the Cayin N6ii. I loved the A01 module and its AK4497EQ DAC so much I kept putting this off. But now I'm spending the evening with the T01 and its Dual PCM1792A chipset.

And to make this a truly splendid experience, my Legend X and Thor II Bespoke must participate.

I'm absolutely fine with the A01 and I like how they implemented the AKM chip but...I love burr-brown, in general.

I posted a quick comparison earlier in the thread.

In terms of burr-brown implementation, I still like the iDSD Micro BL a bit more but as it burns in T-01 is getting closer and closer really great. I wouldn’t pair it with brighter or even reference IEMs, but with warmer stuff like my FIBAE7 it’s great!
