  I am a man & I ordered cyan too. I am getting mine today. I've always had black smartphones and DAPs and I thought I should have something that looks fun and different.And if I don't like cyan or if it draws too much attention, I can always get the black silicone case (when it becomes available).

I ordered my N3 last night. It is CYAN! Why? Because I am a real man. The same story. My laptop is black. My headphone is black. My iPhone 5 is black .My iPhone SE is in black case. My kindle is black. Everything on my desk is black. Cyan is easy for me to found the N3.
I order directly from musicteck. It shipped this morning. It's via USPS. It shows it will arrive next Monday. I am living in California.

Yes, it's white. I noticed it immediately Or may be it is just a place holder as you mentioned.

I hope your delivery date is more accurate than mine.  It was "supposed" to be delivered today.

First impressions are very positive. Also working flawlessly as an external DAC with my Windows laptop.
 

 
Build quality is very good for the most part. The USB-C slot, however, doesn't seem to be perfectly centered. This shouldn't be causing any issues though, hopefully.

My phone doesn't have a very good camera, so it's hard to show it but yeah the case has a different hue when on the N3. But it is hard to notice it in dim light. The only place you can notice that is the area surrounding the USB-C slot and the 3.5mm jack. The case covers everything else.
