If Cayin want to compete with dx220, the price should be much more closer to n5 than to n8. But no one says, that they want
How much is the DX220 supposed to be in USD? I haven't heard yet.
DX220 will be at $899 (or maybe little more) plus shipping.
Considering how good the N5ii was(and still is) for the price and Cayin having the skills to make TOTL daps that stand on par with the more experienced competition. I'd say its very possible. Even more so if they trickle down the R&D of the N8 to the N6ii.Hope 1800 worth of audio inside.
Heck, looking at the size it's not too far off to assume that the N6ii is just a N8 without the Nutube.
We are working on a short video to show you the user interface briefly, so stay tuned, hopefully available tomorrow.
PS. I am in vacation till 30 April, will keep everybody updated but sorry for unable to answer questions interactively during these few weeks.
4.4mm p/o fffffffyeahhhh! I expect it has bi-directional Bluetooth as well?
What would the I2S output be used for--using the player as a standalone DAC?
Stay updated on Cayin at their sponsor profile on Head-Fi.

We adopt a slightly different approach from our previous Android DAP, user will launch at the Android desktop instead of go straight into the Cayin Music App.
