Considering how good the N5ii was(and still is) for the price and Cayin having the skills to make TOTL daps that stand on par with the more experienced competition. I'd say its very possible. Even more so if they trickle down the R&D of the N8 to the N6ii.

Heck, looking at the size it's not too far off to assume that the N6ii is just a N8 without the Nutube.

If the amp section is modular (as someone noted might be possible), I'm thinking Cayin could make a Nutube module similar to what iBasso is rumored to be doing.

4.4 out + possible amp and only half my kidney? Tell me battery life 10.5 hours and there's quick charge and I'm sold.

This what I was waiting for after the N3 and N5iiS, but we got the N8. Looks worth the wait.

DX 220 comparison is relevant, I heard a few of the Amp cards for the 220 at Axpona, it was a very polish very strong performer

I like Cayin to, the N5ii was one of my favorites in it's price point last year!

I would hope they keep this no more than 999,

Will there be an option to jump into the music app, ie a pure music mode or something similar? I don't care for the apps and so on.
