I noticed in a photo of the Cavalli system at the L.A. meet last weekend that the sign for the LL said something about the next release scheduled for 1st quarter of 2013.
I wondered what that meant.

Dang, not only the sign is misplaced but the header is wrong. 
 
Well, never mind. Probably the next production run then (sounds awfully long wait though, esp. missing the holiday season)

One thing at a time. (Trust me I wish the next run was coming sooner, too. It's going to force me to buy another Stax amp in between for the 009s.

I have to say. Starting to really like this. I spent 2 hours last night just sitting there soaking it in, while trying to get over an upset stomach and a fever, and it was extremely satisfying. One thing's for sure I never enjoyed the music that much with the lcd3s, if only because of ergonomics. And detail. Man these things have it in spades. Vocals and guitars are amazing on this. With vocals its like the artist is right next to my ear carooning, with guitars its like the Stax has its Own little Mini guitar that twangs Oh so realistically. Whether it's the 009 or ll I don't know. But it was definitely a step up in terms of aural experience over my lcds.

So does the LL generate a lot of ambient heat like my old Pass X350 class-A amp did? (It heated up the whole room! 'had to sell it because this was so annoying.)
