As the title says, is anyone aware of a can that provides me amazingly deep bass like the DT770 80ohms but able to clear up the recessed mids that it is notorious for?
I wouldn't trade my Beyers for anything but am looking for my second pair of higher end cans.
The one i'm currently thinking of is the Denon D2000.
Suggestions?

If I remember correctly the DT770 250ohm didnt have much for bass compared to the 770s.
The darth beyers dont apper to clean up the mids. (from what ive read before).
Any other suggestions?

Oh no we dare not speak or mention of that e word on an audiophile forum.

As regards to Darth Beyers and their mids, I've heard a great mixed bag about them.  Some people absolutely despise their sound and cal it muddy and overly aggressive on the bass, while others say the upgraded cable and wood cups bring out the mids and improve soundstage, while tightening the lows.  Of course, you should always be questioning the exact amount of changes made when anything related to cabling is concerned.
