Hi guys, im looking for a good set of over ear's, budget is £250 which is around 450 USD?

I would like:

- No/ Little sound leakage
- Great sound quality, i like bass heavy music (rap, dubstep, hip hop..) but i dont want it to be overpowering or to the detriment to mids or highs ( to some extent?)
- comfort
- And finally im not too bothered about it, but i want it to be a bit stylish?

Thanks!

One choice off the top of my head is the Ultrasone PRO 900. They can be had for $350 USD sometimes.

Other headphones I'd recommend are Denon D7000 and Audio Technica W1000X which are both two of the finest closed headphones around.

Budget wise, both the D7000 and the W1000X are too expensive. But I do agree on the Pro 900 for what the OP is looking for.

Those headphones are generally more sensitive to source upgrades than amplification.

Agreed. But even a small amp helps to open the sound a bit, so if budget is a consideration, getting a PA2V2 or a E11 would work great without breaking the bank.

would a FiiO E5 amp do ? cause that quite small and cheap?

You realize that the system must be matched to sound best, meaning using a $20 amp on $400 headphones might not be the best idea... After all, there are many people here that spend more money on amps than on the headphones they're powering.

E7 is a DAC/amp combo, E11 is an amp alone, but the E11 amp is more powerful than the amp on E7.

ESW10, ES10, Sony Z1000, Pro900 and FA003.

what about a ultrasone pro 750 s-logic? how are they for hip hop and rap and do they need an amp?

The PRO 750 is good too. I also think the PRO 550 is very good if you want to give the PRO series a try. I think the 550 may have more bass than the 750
