Not sure if next year there will be another model. 1950's seemed pretty revolutionary. Anyway...onto prices..

Mm...so, should I sell my 1960s and get the 1950s? It is a chasm! Lol!
I would absolutely do this given the small price difference between the two and that the 1960s is still the top commonly available cable, you'll get a good price for it...

Looks like someone didn't understand my post. 2000 or 2500$ for a (copper) is more or less equally out of this world.
Now...it is an out of this world copper. I had a "I can't believe it's not butter!" moment.

Mm...1960s PW Audio and, now, its sucessor the 1950s are expensive but try it first before you knock it. Comparable sound quality would be the Brimar Gold Monarch, Effect Audio Leonidas (prefer it over Mars) and Labkable Samurai. I use all 4 regularly for iem listening. If you want reasonably priced copper, I recommend the PlusSound Exo series. Love it with my AKT8ie.

If you don’t believe in cable, stick with your stock 2-pin 10 dollar cable.....and move on.

Do you mean that the best sound quality comes from the most expensive cable of each brand? Looks like you got it all figured out.

It is not because you drank the Kool aid that nothing can be said about people charging 2.5k$ from a copper wire. But if you're happy with people making 5000% margin on your face, suit yourself.
