I have to say, though, my heart sank when I read this:

The last thing the CIEM industry needs is yet more Astell&Kern style price-boundary-bulldozing.

It might seem to a few greedy CIEM makers that it's a good thing for the industry to demand higher profit-margins, but it sours the market for the majority of customers who can see it for what it really is.

Cheers, mate. Well, it's just the way things are nowadays; I'm just the messenger. Besides, if what I'm hearing about their pre-order figures are correct, this trend ain't changing anytime soon.
