CanJam London 2019 Impressions thread

I enjoyed listening to the HEDDphone, there were 3 different prototypes, one was lighter than the other two. I had just listened to the HiFiMan Jade II and Shangri-La Jr. when I went to the HEDD stall and first thing I noticed was the Low end was much fuller. The HEDDphone has a lot of promise but was told it is still being refined and hopefully released in October. The favourite headphones I listened to was Audeze LCD4z and the Raal SR1a

I had the same impression. Very nice and full low compared to Shangri-La. I liked a lot Warwick Accoustic's APERIO. Very nice idea with the booth. Its hard to choose but I would go for HEDDphone.

Did you try the Synergistic cables with either the Ether 2 or Ether Flow Open's? Would be interested in your impressions vis a vis the MrSpeakers cables. Also, can you remember prices. There are no prices (or any other details for that matter!) for Synergistic Research products on the Electromod site.
I think the Synergistic Research cable was priced at £450 for 2 metre length, best to check with Mark (Electromod) though

Happy to be here and stroll around

Really liked the EE Legend X.
Impressed with the level of customisation EE offer at no extra cost.

Any impression comparison with the Kaldas RR1 ? I'm searching for extremely fast headphone with very good low end (quantity&quality). Kaldas and Hedd are good competitor for me below 2000$.

It was the first thing I heard. I had just said hello to Mark and he wanted me to try them on Ether 2. It was a really involving sound - improved 3d and richness. £450 and other lengths available. I stopped analysing after being very impressed as these cables aren't appropriate for my Voce .

Not to the $24000 and $50000 headphone. To the $24000 and $50000 system
Price is not everything. Sound - that matters :)

It does when one option you get to also finance a house...and the other you lose one. Really looking forward to hearing these at some point. Hopefully they are as easy to find as there speakers.

Thanks for that. I see you are using the same Forza cable I use with my Flow Open's and Ether 2's. Did you think the Synergistic Research cable offered an overall improvement or just an alternative presentation?
I didn't have my Ether Flows with me so I wasn't able to do a proper comparison - I certainly liked what I heard and would consider trying one out :)

All these fabulous impressions and not a SINGLE mention of the Verite closed back? What sort of show is this?? :p
I not only tried the Verite Closed back but also purchased one. I thought it was the best closed back I have ever heard hands down. Btw I own both the Stellia and the Elegia
