No, the sound quality isn't a huge difference at all. I just get no distortion with the Fuze. Distortion with the Zune 120 is practically non-existent, but on some occasions I can hear a slight hint of it with certain highs. You're using a 4g nano, so distortion may even be much less than my 2g nano. I can't exactly state for sure, though. Also note, the nano's volume can go a bit higher than the Fuze and Zune 120.
UE tips are, indeed, one of the best amongst silicone for the re0, but I was one of the people who had trouble getting a good seal with them. So I just stick with the sony hybrids.
If you ever want to go with foam, I'd highly recommend you give the shure olive tips a try. Only you'd have to decore them in order to fit the nozzle of the re0. They're various articles on here that can teach you how to decore them.
