I've lost a few (cheapies, luckily). At least yours appears de-clawed! (Mine aren't). Apologies if I'm wrong.

Here’s a side by side of this new LE (left) and the 2020. I’m frankly confused at what this product is. It’s some Frankenstein of the SE and 2020 as best i can tell. It’s $1299 and that includes their new Pilot DAC.

Is it me or is the LE super sensitive? Maybe I’m reading it wrong.
The 2020 is a little less sensitive than the OG/SE models...maybe this new one takes the sensitivity of the earlier versions along with the larger shell. But yeah, it's hard to tell precisely what this is. Will it have the same 8k peak as the 2020?
Edit: I must say I do love the design/artwork of their packaging...best in the industry imho.

I’m back and forth. Part of me loved the abalone SE so I think they may have tweaked down the 8k peak on the 2020 for these. The other part wonders if the size of the housing makes the 2020 internals sound completely different. If they put the 2020 low end on the 2019 SE mids and treble.... boyyyyyyy.
The internals of the 2020 were all in this "single boot" so in theory it shouldn't really matter what sort of housing they go in (assuming that said boot is in the LE, which it sounds like it isn't).

Thsi gives me natural anxiety worrying about the safety of the cables!
