AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC.

People complain about them collecting dirt. I run them under hot water after 8 hours use to clean them up. Also after an extended listening session I invert the cones to keep their shape.

I tried all sorts of tips and settled with spinfit CP100+. I've got the A&K SE100 Dap and like the synergy of engaging low end, good layering and wide soundstage. I should add that I'm a little trebble sensitive and that definitely played into my choice of tips for the OG solaris.
Cheers

One year of listening with Solaris 2020. Still loves the sound. Enough but not too much highs. Well controlled and bouncy basses. At one point the fitting became too tight. I had to switch to a smaller foam tip. It can be a bit challenging for longer listening.

I use the AZLA SednaEarfit XELASTEC on my Solaris 2020 and can wear them for 6+ hours with no issues.

Photo from last week or so

My current favorite listening rig

+1 on the Xelastec (i do prefer the Spiral dots++ but the Xelastec help the Solaris to stay in place).

DX240/amp3MOD, iBasso CB13 cable (2.5mm), Campfire Audio Solaris 2020 with the Xelastec tips (they stay in nicely).

How does the silicone type ear tip
work for you folks? For some reason it doesn’t work with my left ear. The suction hurts a lot. However my right ear has no problem with it. Any tips?
A different size ear tip in each ear like myself. Ear canals arent always the aame size on some people

For some in ears i insert straight in, others i twist in, if any air pressure i insert then push it to one side of the ear canal to let out pressure

Or the official pull the ear up and back and then insert

Case by case

I agree that ear canals are not always the same size. that’s why I use different size of tip on each ear. The other thing that I wonder is that if I can just poke a very small hole on the tip to help release the pressure but not sure about how it will affect the bass.

Did anyone noticed that CFA released a new custom IEM "Supermoon"? It use a planar magnetic driver. Could this be a new type of driver CFA gonna use for the next universal IEM too? Like, the legit successor of Solaris.

Hi guys,
I got my used Solaris 2020 about a week ago. I have never owned a pair of iems this good (or expensive for that matter) and I really love the soundstage, clarity and lush sound of them. However, I am really missing that exciting treble sparkle. I also find female vocals a bit veiled.

Should I have gone with the Andros or the Aras instead? I could still return my Solaris.

I listen to classical music, folk, jazz, indie pop, neo soul and rnb.
Judging by the description, you need Solaris OG, gold, not black. If their size suits you.
If change is not possible, then I would recommend a good cable. However, it will cost $ 300-500 extra.

That’s interesting! I’m also looking for things that could enhance the treble of Solaris 2020. Any specific recommendation for the cable?
