Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova

The Andro reveals a lot more detail, just missing a little energy up top.

You're using the Mojo which to my ears only pairs poorly with Andromeda. I much prefer my iPod Touch 6G with Andromeda where Andromeda's upper treble are soaring high yet non-fatiguing at the same time

Would there be any benefit to adding the iematch to a Mojo? I’m use to the sparkle of
my ie800. The Andro reveals a lot more detail, just missing a little energy up top.
May just need more brain burn, only been 2 weeks.

Impedance in the Mojo is too low to get the best Andro treble. You want between 1-2 ohms or so, which the IEMatch gets you. Opinions are mixed on whether the IEMatch impacts the sound negatively, positively or not at all other than the freq response changes.

I use the xdsd that is rated at <1ohm with my Andromedas and have been thinking about the IEmatch to hopefully bring the mids out a bit.
What am I missing with less than 1ohm OI vs getting 2.5ohm with IEmatch?
Above said he thinks it messes with the FR too much but I’m not sure about the specifics

At 1.7 ohms, Andromeda sounds so perfect to me. Bass, mids and treble are incredibly synergized as well as soundstage, imaging and resolution. However, this may not apply to the stainless steel version since it's a different tuning

As has been mentioned multiple times on this thread:

<1 ohm: elevated bass, less treble
>2/2.5 ohms: elevated treble, less bass
Ok thanks

Which DAP is the best (ie no hissing, output impedance between 1-2 Ohms) for the Andromeda without using IEmatch?

I use IEmatch when using the Andromeda with my soundcard and mobile phone(both has hissing without IEmatch). I use the high setting most often but I feel its still lacking something. The ultra setting has a bit more bass than I would have liked. I can imagine the sweet spot may be somewhere in between the 2 settings.

Thank you for your comments.

IPhone x 1ohm and adjustable volume scaling to compensate for the high sensitivity. Just throwing it out there.

I look no further than this at 1.7 ohm OI
