Did you receive an email with tracking information? I also placed my order on Tuesday, but haven’t seen anything come through yet. What kind of package do they come in? The description on the site says non-retail packaging.

I think B-stock is just a nice way of having a sale. I had Green Andromeda that appeared flawless and have White on the way.

Same here on the White B 'stock' IEM's. They arrived via USPS in a small plain brown box - not much larger than the internal box. The b ox also included a nice CA catalog as well.

Yes same with me. I am starting to wonder if they are really bstock or maybe just extra stock. Mine were literally perfect.

The the package was shrink wrapped and was in the retail package but had a sticker on it that said B stock.

The case was the same as what my Vega came thru, black. It came with the normal foam ear tips plus a package of Comply TX-400 tips in Small, Medium and large.

I found my top 2 favorite signature for the Andro. Either balanced output from SP1000SS with ALO Litz 2.5 cable, or Single-ended output from DP-S1 with ALO Litz 3.5 cable. Really appreciate the quality of ALO cables and the effort they put into tuning. Very high price to performance ratio.

According to the spec sheet of the players, I believe the SP1000SS balanced output has an output impedance of 1, whereas the DP-S1 has an output impedance of around 0.5. Both of them give a smooth lower to mid-range with just enough sparkle up top.

Hi, I just bought the B stock Andromedas. I've been reading very positive reviews but non seem to really point out its flaws in terms of sound. Can anyone tell me what are some of its flaws? I'm a bit skeptical when people say there are no flaws

1. The Andro is extremely extremely extremely sensitive to hiss. There are many DAPs that are not a good pairing with the Andro if you are sensitive to hiss.
Here are a few DAP that the Andro don't hiss with. Most AK players such as AK70ii, AK380, SP1000 don't hiss, except Kann . There is noticeable hiss with Kann.
Sony wm1a/z the 4.4 balanced doesn't hiss. Some reported the single end may hiss, but it is not audible to me.
Onkyo DP-X1/ DP-S1 with ACG mode turned on.


2. The sound signature of the Andro fluctuates greatly depending on the source's output impedance. The guy next door talking about the sound signature of the Andro may be very different to what you hear if you are using a different source/DAP. It could be very warm on the mojo pairing or sound thin on others such as an iPhone/ 3.5mm jack out of a PC.

Despite these two major issues, (I would not really say it is a Flaw), the Andro really make a good standard for $1000 iems on the market.

Anyways thanks for those who replied to my question! I received my andros today, 4 days shipping which is fast considering I live in Singapore. They are B stock, but I can't find any flaw in the exterior! Only one very very tiny spleck of green the size of a ballpoint pen tip, so faint that you have to hold it up to the light to see. I wouldn't know they were there if I hadnt spend time combing the entire surface.

I noticed that my white Andromeda are ck and the green are not. Does that mean the paint should be more durable than the original?

I just added one to the cart and it updated as out of stock. The green and white Andromeda doesn't appear at all on my mobile web browser, but it does show up on my laptop as out of stock. Sorry, I should have checked both browsers before posting.
