Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova

I've no experience of either of those (they're difficult to get over here) but from all the tips I've so far tried I'm torn between Symbio Mandarines which have been peeled and Comply Comfort TS-400, I've been using the 'peeled' Symbios for a few weeks on my Andromeda Green and rate them sonically, superb across the spectrum though a little light on bass and (for my ears) not perfectly comfortable, however they are far more comfortable than the 'unpeeled' version. I never got on with standard Comply foam tips on my previous iem's but was curious enough to buy a pack of their premium tips to try. I only tried them for an hour yesterday, but when fitted they seem to have the largest diameter opening* for the speaker ports which is a huge huge plus, sound & seal is stunning and they are so very comfortable to wear
Hey, thanks.

Unfortunately, I really don't like Comply foam tips. Tried them, wasted like 20 bucks on these!

Wait, there are 2 different Symbios? I was recommended the W for the OG Andromeda (http://symbioeartips.com/termek/symbio-w/). I haven't ordered them yet, I wish I could try them before. I missed out on their BF sale too! :/

I'm really looking for: good seal + good amount of bass + comfort for tips.

edit: oh I see the "peeled" Symbios. They're like regular eartips without the foam part.

I already use the balanced out on my Litz cable. I'm not convinced at this point I need to replace the 846's, but now i'm looking at the Atlas!! I will try to listen to several IEM's this Saturday. But for me to replace the Shure's, the up grade would have to impress me. I really like the 846 sound signature, but I understand the emphses is on the bass and the mids. If I can find something with the 846's bass and mids, with better highs, I will pull the trigger.
Bought Andromed SS and love them!

Try spinfits.
What are the Spinfits JDM? I like what I'm reading about these.
They have a "slantable" tip that conforms to your ear canal so the sound points more directly to your eardrum instead of at the canal wall. Sounds goofy but its the one I like. They are silicon and light so they pop in and out quick and easy, and to me they have the best neutral sound and great soundstage.

Do you like the tonality with SP1000M?I'm thinking of buying the player and you're one of the first with this combo so any input is appreciated.
I wantto burn them both in before final judgement, but yes, I love them! ss is great, everything is popping, smooth, detailed musical, even crappy mp3s sound great

That's good,Andromedas are tricky to get the tonality down without one frequeny suffering due to mismatch and impedance issue.Don't forget to buy alo litz 2.5mm trrs cable for balance to max the sound of the dap.

I am using the Andromedas for almost a year now and still generally love them, though, I realized a (very) few aspects in sound that I actually don`t like so much.

Maybe it is just my personal hearing, but does anybody else thinks the transition between upper bass and lower mids sounds slightly muddy?

While instrument separation in the highs is superduper clean, to me it sounds like there is even a little masking effect in the 250 Hz area. At least if I EQ this area down a little, it sounds definitely cleaner to me and more like I am used to with other earphones in this price class. But maybe it is even wanted by CA to smoothen the transition between bass and mids and let it sound fuller and more coherent, I am not sure...
To me it sounds a little distracting though...
Anybody else hearing this?
What tips are you using?

Currently using the black silicone ones that were included, but I have tried several ones...

I've been using the foams that came with the Andro's and they seem to work fine, I ordered some peeled MandarinEs and some spinfits today, but so far the Andro ss sound amazing no matter what I use. I would like to get custom sleeves if that's possible.
