Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova

Just had a long, enjoyable evening with the Andromeda S - the midrange detail and texture, just wow. Guitars on these are straight magic. Never had that reaction to the original, the mids really do set the S apart. Was the first time I could really just sit and listen since I got them, and it was a treat!

I was driving along the freeway today, and it suddenly dawned on me where Ken got his inspiration from for the Andros.

Just kidding I like these very much

Hey guys,

What would you recommend between the Spinfits and the Spiral Dots for the Andromeda? I want the best seal possible but also the most comfortable ones.

Thanks for your help!

I prefer the spiral dots myself, spin fits restrict the opening at the bore and impact the tuning in a negative way for me.

For sound tuning, I tried both (L, M, S of Spinfits, and S, MS, M of Spiral Dots), and Spinfits S gives best sound for my ears.
Spiral Dots has more bass and mid bass, just a bit too much bass for me. Spinfits S produces best tonal balance to my ears.

I took the memory wire out of my ALO Audio SXC-8 cable (thanks lookout57 for instructions)

Now it sits across my ears very well with the Andromeda.
Just curious: why not just bend the wire to conform to your ear, that's what it is there for.

Because not everyone finds it comfortable.

what @Lookout57 said.

And also that isnt the stock cable. It is the SXC-8 which is considerably heavier. I found the Andromeda to sit better with no memory wire.

For the stock Litz I still have the memory wire with no issues.
