Campfire Audio - Introducing 2 new models Hello Andromeda and Nova

ba need burn in?

Depends on who you ask. All BA drivers at least have internal parts that move, so that alone may experience a change in the sound when time is spent burning the earphones/headphones in. It also depends on various factors if those changes are discernible to the individual listener, though. In my experience, I usually hear a change with burn in.

Definitely don't want to open up Pandora's Box though. Especially on this absolutely glorious day!

On the topic of Andromeda, still loving it!

If people want to debate burn-in, there is a thread currently open relating to the MEE P1

Let's keep this thread clear - OK?

Looking forward to comparing the Andromeda, Nova, Layla, Zeus, Zeus Remastered, SE846, Omega, and other top-of-the-lines I can get a hold of.

Good times!

I was going to say that.  I don"t think BA themselves change too much, but the crossover and other electronics.  Anyway, it doesn't matter anyway, I have it running for ten hours now.

I didn't see Brooko's post above.  Will stop now.

KSE1500 instead of SE846

If I can get a hold of one in time for the review - even though I know pretty much the house sound (without EQ applied). But I still consider the SE846 TOTL, and I've owned it for quite a while so that will be my base. Well that and the UERR as well. Forgot to add that one to the list. :normal_smile :

This is very cool but we still need your man card back.

Mim, what I want to ask you is to compare the Pristine-Universal to the Andromeda.  I am very curious about the Pristine SQ and seeing that you have one on the FS forum. Please do tell.
