Late night coffee, decaf but still has caffeine, as I don't plan on waking early tomorrow, haha.
.
I'm currently listening to my Hidizs S9 Pro Plus Martha for the first time in months because I let my fellow reviewer use it for a while while he was still searching for a dongle/DAC. I miss this dongle/DAC; it is very resolving, certainly one of the highest perceived resolutions I've heard. It sounds close to my iBasso DC Elite in terms of resolution, and it also has a big and spacious soundstage.
.
I'm using it with the highly resolving V-shape NF Acous NM20, one of my most used single DD IEMs for casual listening due to its fun and energetic sound presentation.
.
And ohh, speaking of the NM20, they will soon release a new model that is supposed to be tuned for music listening in a domestic setting, as opposed to the NM20, which was primarily tuned for sound monitoring in a loud environment. It's nice that they listen to my suggestion (or at least I believe so) of a more relaxed tuning, like having a lesser lower treble boost. I hope they really accomplish that promise; crossing fingers, we'll see.
.
Good evening and happy listening.

Great word, underused. I'm enjoying a custom mix of San Diego Bird Rock bean and decaf black along with a bit of 88% dark chocolate with The Paper Kites - Roses album on iBasso DX180 driving Ananda Stealth at the momentdispendious
I like 5g caffinated to 10g decaf. I get most of the good flavor without the jitters. 2nd cup is 15g decaf along with 4-6mg of homemade cannabis tincture. Water is trace mineralized reverse osmosis and most recently I've been using a pour over but I'm sometimes caught enjoying an Aeropress. I'm retired and it helps me cope with our world

Hello coffee lovers! Finally bought a new grinder, so today we've got the Groundwork's Organic Bitches Brew via French Press. Should be listening to Miles Davis, I suppose...

EarAcoustic Audio SPA Pro Max (219 USD)
.
Burning in and listening to my EarAcoustic Audio SPA Pro Max in-ear monitors while waiting for the movie to begin.
.
The sound has opened up noticeably, giving me even more details and nuances from the music while having an expansive soundstage and well-placed imaging.
.
I will post my full written review in the near future after more exhaustive listening time.
.
The DAC/amplifier used in this set is the new TRN Black Pearl, which sounds fantastic, has a ruler-flat perceived frequency response, a big and deep soundstage, and a powerful bass delivery. It blows away all the DAC/amps that I've heard in its price range of below 50 dollars so far.
.
May your week ahead be productive. Happy listening, cheers!
