Brand Spanking New A&K AK120II and AK100II

I haven't measured it, but I use my AK100II about 5 hours a day at work. From a full battery, I can use it for two days.

Yes, that sounds about right. Depending also if you have the screen on a lot.
I think I can get 2 to 3 workdays (as I'm not listening all day long).

Hmm that sounds quite typical, which is good enough I guess!

I am man with ears...torn: After several years away from any DAP or IEM upgrades, I am now weighing heavily between investing in an AK240, and staying with my current IEM's (Westone W4 and UM3X) for the time being, or purchasing an AK120 II, along with the new Westone W60 IEM's. Obviously not an investment one takes lightly, looking for any and all opinions from my friends and listeners here...

IMO you'd get more "returns on investment" to upgrade your IEMs first.  I had the W4R and loved them for what they are but there are many choices from $500 and up that are just more transparent and sound better than the W4R.  For reference, I'd prefer listening to my JH13FP or TG334 out from my Note 3 over listening to the W4R out of my AK240 balanced out.

Thanks for that opinion! I have thought the IEM upgrade might be a good way to go. Always have been a Westone fan, from sound to customer service, and looking at picking up the W60!

Like home system, always starts with the loudspeakers and in our case, IEM/headphones
