weird problem with Mojo and AK120ii...

whenever I want to play any files above 24/96 Mojo can't handle it via opt in. BUT that only happens when I use the AK120ii as transport, any other DAP I try works fine. BUT any other DAC also works flawlessly. If I connect AK to desktop DAC no problem with 24/192 or DSD (24/176.2).
I tried different cables, no change.

to summarize: my AK120ii and Mojo doesn't work with files above 24/96. But both work perfect with other devices.

anyone have an idea?

Is it possible your other DAPs re-sample the files down to 24/96 before sending them off to the DAC?

I owned a C5 but never tried it with AK100ii. Mainly because my actual CIEM are to sensible to be used with an amp.

If you need extra power, C5 will give it plus a bass coloration.

Paired with AK Jr, it gave a bit more of 3D effect but AK 100ii has not the same presentation so it will not add anything in that part of the game, I guess.

I don't fill like i need C5 anymore. It added a lot to Fiio X1, a little bit to AK Jr but none to AK 100ii. But please note that I don't own particularly demanding earphones, too. My Custom Art Ei.XX CIEM are really efficient and get too much hiss from C5.

Mojo plays in another league.

I have a couple of questions:

1.  When I shake (gently) my ak100ii, there is a part inside that appears to be loose and moves around, makes a dull sound, and sounds like a big part, like the battery.  Anyone else notice that with their ak100ii?

2.  Is there a volume limiter?  I would like to reduce the maximum volume from 150 to 75 so there is no chance of me hurting my ears.

Thanks!

There is no need to ever raise the volume to 150, if you use the Line Out function.  It automatically resets to to a lower volume whenever a cable or headphone is unplugged, or if the device is turned off and back on.  But if you manually dial the volume up to max for some reason, it is risky.

My AK's new friend, the Rhapsodio Solar. This is a magical pairing.
