I love that headphone stand. Source?

I bought it from a guy on eBay who was making and selling bespoke stands for quite some time. He tends to specialise in using real carbon fibre and now seems to be producing custom carbon fibre parts for record decks and doesn't seem to have any stands on there now. I've just this second discovered he's on this site though after searching Google to give you some other examples! His username is JamieMcC, he's in the UK but I know he shipped worldwide through Ebay so perhaps if you sent him a message he might make you one??

Sounds a bit pricey for my blood, but thanks for the info!

Flashed without a problem.

From release notes:

The lowest volume level has been reduced, so music can be listened to at a much quieter level. The louder volume levels remain unchanged.

Confirmed - the lower levels are really quiet! The lowest one is almost too quiet, but no complaints here.

There are more volume levels at the quieter end of the volume range, providing finer adjustment for quieter music listening.

I haven't had a problem with volume adjustment granularity before, can't tell a difference except for the lowest levels which were simply not here.

Improved audio experience during a call, providing a more natural sound and feeling.

I don't use them for calls much. I tried a quick outgoing call from my phone and noticed no difference. Someone else must say what exactly changed here.

Conference call / VOIP (e.g. Skype) enhancements to in-call connectivity.

B&W support mentioned this in response to my complaint about the auto-power-off function being too aggressive, however I have no idea what this is about. Skype uses the same channel as the phone does, so I wonder how they could have fixed something specific. Time will tell (I'll test the auto power off later, hopefully they did something like... got rid of it :))

Minor bug fixes and user interface improvements.

Like what? Yeah, sure, the display is much louder and the headband has more colors now. Also the eels in my hovercraft look much happier with those cute costumes, thanks!

Hiss: still here :frowning2:

Yes!!! Finally I can use them as intended (i.e. listening at the low level I want to listen to them). The hiss is still there, but my biggest problem of the low volume not being low enough is now solved. I also note that the volume steps on iOS are not one-to-one if using the volume buttons on the iOS device or the ones on the headphone. Using the ones on the actual headphone changes volume in smaller steps (half a step at a time it seems). I like it!

I used my P7 for a client call in GoToMeeting last week and the headset would frequently chime like it was reconnecting. Very annoying. I hope this is what was fixed.

Just tried to update - using the utility downloaded from the B & W website - won't work - the provided cable initially connects to the PC (Windows 10) and the firmware update starts, gets to 20% complete and then says that the device has been disconnected (it hasn't). Tried it with different USB ports - same thing. Headphone wouldn't switch on then! So - tried a Bose cable - fortunately they resumed charging and could be switched on, but they can't be updated using that cable. I've emailed support to ask what the problem might be. In the mean time - just glad I could get them to power up again!
