At the price range the OP is suggesting, why not go straight for the MHDT Havana?  I haven't heard the MHDT Paradisea3, so I can't compare it to the Havana, but third party accounts report the Havana being significantly better.

Not sure if you realized this but im looping for a setup that id sable on the road, vence battery life being a factor.

If i connected either the edition 8 or the pro 900 directly to the headphone Jack on my iPhone 3GS would it still sound worth it's price or do I need some other amp device like the rx mk2 to get most of the value out of these headphones?

A few other things I do not have any "source" at the moment other than my iPhone 3GS and a laptop with a dysfunctional battery. The reason why my limit is so high is because I want a complete system.
Any hissing on SSS sounds is not acceptable. This is the only real issue I have had with my ae2s other than that they sound decent enough.
I have had no experience with any high end equipment so if there is a cheaper setup that would sound the same to noob ears that is the optimum setup.
Thanks for the suggestions.

Sorry, I misunderstood what you wanted. Can I ask a few more questions, just for further clarification? First, are you going to be using this setup to walk around with, i.e. walking along the road in a city? So do you need the setup to be ultraportable, so that you can carry it around in, say, your pocket or a tote bag? And second, do you want it to isolate noise? Open-back cans isolate pretty much no outside noise and let pretty much all sound in, and leak a ton of sound out too, so if you want to use it on public transit, or pretty much anywhere but home, open-back 'phones can be pretty much ruled out.

I want this setup to be uses mostly on public transportación maybe walking once in a while. It has to be small enough for me to feasibly carey it in a bag or parte pocket. Noise isolation doesn't real matter but i ave no idea how much open back cans lea so if they lea a lot of noise out i don wat them.

Well, as I said, open-backed 'phones leak a ton of noise.  It's practically like you're not wearing anything on your ears at all.  They leak almost as much too, so it's like a portable speaker system (albiet a muffled and rather mediocre one) to everyone around you.

You could try reading through this to see what you think of these cans.  Ones like the HD25-1, for example, are quite well-received around here and you can't really go wrong with them.  But they are starting to get a little old.

ou should get some custom IEM's they isolate sounds way better than any active sound cancelling headphones they also sound a lot better, better sounding and easier to travel with. And since they are custom made for your ears, they should be comfortable.

Honestly, I'd have to agree with this - if you want something that's portable, comfortable, isolating and can still sound great out of an iPhone, a good pair of customs can't be beat.  They are expensive, however, and are a bit of a hassle to acquire (you need to take molds of your ear and send them in).

It seems some custom in-ears would really meet your needs - the JH-13s straight out of your iphone would probably be more than sufficient!  Excellent bass, though if you are accustomed to bloat, you may consider the JH-16s.

There is no yes/no with regard to earwax "issues."  It all depends on the nature of your ears, type of wax you have, and how much you produce.

Which would you recommend ?
Is ear wax an issue?
Aré they capable of good bass?

check out the portable section of the forum. With your budget you can easily any of the good curtom IEM's. The Westone ES5 is getting lots of positive reviews, Maybe even the new hybrid from UM or the merlin. Also Jerry Harvey has a bunch of good ones. UE has a ton of different IEMs they offer.. good luck. hope you find the right one on your first try..

edit. I have a westone UM2 That I thought was very comforable, which they are, I can wear them for hours at a time with no pain or discomfort. That is till got I got my first set of semi-custom (reshelled TF10). All I can say is this, the customs are so much more comfortable, I can see wearing them for days with no issues.
