That sounds like money well spent to me. I’m not a gambler and that’s the only reason I didn’t buy sooner. I read this whole thread before I was willing to test the water. I am confident that I am going to love these or else I wouldn’t have purchased at all, but I like to remain reserved just to prevent the possibility of a letdown. There’s so many positive responses about these buds that I can’t help it: I am excited

You can see how solid the unanimity of opinions is, as well as different models (older, newer, MX, PK, different impedances) ... that already says a lot about the SQ of this craftsman.

But the best will be when you have them in your ear.

To answer your question - I don’t know! Here’s what I do know, and maybe you can help me figure it out! I asked for a bud the had good sub-bass with forward vocals - and my pair pretty much hit the mark.

If I am not mistaken that does appear to be a modified Second Mountain Higher Tuning where Wong is trying to capture both a strong low end and a forward mid range to match your tastes. Cool! Thank you for sharing.

Can't say how speechless I still am with Blurs. Im selling all my other buds and only keeping a few like lbbs or m2s has beaters.

Only minor complaint that I'll do is about the pk32 ofc cable, which is very stiff, but nothing I can't live with. Otherwise, perfection.

Agreed. I've been totally able to downsize my earbuds and IEM collection since getting the Blurs. Money spent now money saved. I'm winning again.

I was listening to my 266 MX64 STE last night and vocals are so bloomin' glorious. As I said before, I could easily dispense with the rest of my IEMs/headphones/earbuds and just keep a couple of Blurs and be done with it.

Waiting on my MX150 Retune to arrive which should be here this week! Exciting times.
