Check out ISN Audio S16 ir C16 cable from Penon. They are possibly too thick for some but the best quality in the world.
I only found the s8 8 strands 19cores version

Didn’t think an iem could handle it, but I tried high voltage balanced on my es100 and the blon sure can handle the voltage much better than the V90, with the V90 distorting at 3/5th volume while the blon went to 9/10th with no distortion, didn’t take it all the way, but the carbon driver handled it with aplomb, getting dangerously loud, but clear, great dynamics, but be careful, try at your own risk, YMMV of course.

If you look under BRANDS at Penon....'ISN Audio'.......it will come up. I don't know if direct links are OK or not. The cables are much the thickest I've seen, but still very usable. There are the S16, C16 and H16, Silver plated, Copper and Mixed. They are of a very high build quality. To me they do make a difference to the sound, but as you know there are many opinions on cables and sounds.

Still no sign of the return of the BL01 to AliExpress. Gutted cos I want at least one spare pair of them.

The Blon can handle more gain. I like to use higher gain stage with it when listening to some music. Really adds a nice compression and evens out the midbass bump a bit

That awkward moment when the tips cost more than the IEMs...

Yes i do realize that :k701smile::k701smile:
And it's easier and cheaper for me to order the blon from AE than to order the tips from Japan

I can't speak as well cause I paid around $13 for the Blon and $30 for a new cable.

Off topic: How do you like the SD ++? I have the regular ones and the +.

The material is softer than the older one. It's more like the Sony or Final Audio tips now, so it's more comfortable to me. The ++ also has a more even and smoother sound to it compared to the older one.

Oops, seems like the web didn't save my edits, it should have 'in my local store' at the end tho
