Of course. Everything benefits from recabling. Just make sure you burn in the cable sufficiently.

donthuang – Great work. Thank you. I had a chance to listen (Heinz’s chain) T1 with RP 010B with Wadia 381i player and with excellent (here so spoken) interconnection cable and headphone cable. This was audiophile heaven. The Rudistor amps does fantastic work and their loved „house“ or „flat“ sound is very helpful for T1. There are absolutely no problems with voltage swings.

PS: I one Italian forum (I do not know Italian language) is speculated about the upgrade to RP 010C.

Piotr Ryka (#1633) – Waw, perfect description of T1. In my mega review, there I characterized T1 in same way. It is great when more and more people prove basic description of T1, give more and more concrete info for other who are interested on them. About bass, when you have excellent amp like Leben CS 300 (one my friend has one), there you can „add“ more bass. When you do it, the resulting quality of T1 is absolutely incomparable with Grado models like GS 1000 or PS 1000. When you see their sound characteristics, the frequences at about 80 Hz are more „peaked“, „tunned“ for tuc-tuc music. When you see it for HD 800 or T1, the graph is different. This is the one point of view of „bassy“ for PS 1000.

I'd say it will be more of a change in signature. Before the recable things will be a bit more aggressive and active, after the recable things will be a bit more laid back and smoother. It mainly depends on what you want, I'd say the former can be a bit more exciting at times, although the latter can be enjoyable if you just want to relax.

Relaxing sound is good after a hard day at the office. Can I expect these results prior to burn-in?
