It looks like beyer is finally boosting their production and more people are getting their T1.
I just received mine today as well directly from beyer today with a serial 14xx even though their web site still tells me that they haven't been sent yet
.
Everything feels high quality in the solid aluminum box except the cleaning cloth that looks like it was quickly cut by someone wasn't sure how a square should look like
.
The headphone is well built with a thick peacock mkII cable made by sommer cable with some kind rubber strap included to tie it (headphone makers should include that more often). They are comfortable but still can’t compare to the hd800 unfortunately.
They require more power from the rpx33 to get the same volume as the hd800.
From the short listening time without any burn in I had with them and. The details are easy to notice and the soundstage isn’t as large as what we can get on the hd800.
The mids are a bit emphasized and beautiful and the highs are pleasant. The bass are well reproduced, at the moment they have about the same impact as the hd800 maybe a little bit more but still nowhere close to what we have for example on a d7000 but they actually have a bit less presence than on the hd800 in the lower frequencies.
So far I really love the way the t1 sound, making most of my music more pleasant to listen than on the hd800.
