On the box it says that all the parts are easily replaceable, but there are no instructions included or on the Beyerdynamic website that explain how to disassemble it.  Can anyone tell me how or link any tutorials?  Also, what are those metal tabs on the headband? Strain-relief?

Bump.  Anyone know how to change the earpads/headband?

Yep for the earpads just grip the inside and outside of the earpad and pull straight out. For the headband you have to unscrew the fasteners at each end (where it is marked left/right). The cups and forks should separate from the headband fairly easily. They are still attached by the cord running from the headband so be gentle. Take the headband off and replace it with a new one. I can post a small tutorial tomorrow if you'd like.
