I would like to get the Beyer DT770s 250 ohms with a Fiio E6 amp and Sony E Series Walkman. Would the amp and sony mp3 combination be enough to bring out the full potential of the earphones? Or at least most of it. I'm asking because I'm not sure if using them un-amped on my LG Optimus 2x would sound very pleasing.

I use Fiio E11 to power my 250-Ohm Beyerdynamics.

Perhaps a Fiio E10 should be able to make them some justice (compared to your E6) which does not.
Compared to the E11 is more bulky though.

hmm thats a bit too expensive for now but i will keep that in mind. i get the impression that i might as well stay with no amp rather than get the e6 until i can afford the e11?

The E10 only works from USB, and not with portable players.

The E6 is still capable of 2-3 times higher voltage output than a typical portable player, but it is not a particularly great amplifier.
