Too bad that Impacto is not compatible with Amiron Wireless.I recently acquired an Impacto (which also works with my Denon D9200, and should work with several Sony and Focal models as well). It does sound very good, and the Universal variant works with Macs, PCs and iOS, allowing me to use the D9200 with Qobuz streaming services running on my iPhone... same would apply for T1/T5 or Amiron Home, while the Amiron Wireless of course works without additional tools.
At the price of 60€ the Impacto is a very good deal I think, good build quality, good USB cable selection (they are even soft and pliable), lightweight and compact. And yes, its intended to hand in front of you, not lay down on a table farther away.

I'm 99% sure EQ only works when connected to app. It goes away when connected to a device with no MYI app.
Hope you like 'em!
Thanks - i just found it explained on the german website:
"Take a two-minute listening test within the app and save your sound profile directly to the headphones. So you can enjoy your music with perfectly tuned sound - from any Bluetooth® player."
and in the Beyerdynamics MIY Video - The settings are independent of the source

For PC connection, i ordered the Avantree DG80 - hope its a good choice.
Lets see how they compare to my Focal Clear and modded Takstar HF580.
I'm confused on this part - are settings saved to the headphone or not? I don't recall an option/toggle to save in the app. Will double check later as I'm not near Amiron now.save your sound profile directly to the headphones. So you can enjoy your music with perfectly tuned sound - from any Bluetooth® player."
The settings are independent of the sourceSo i can easy connect it to the TV and watch movies as well.
Looks like a good price for aptx-LL supported device. No aptx-HD though so while you should get good sync for games/videos, you won't get best possible BT sound quality. I find Amiron sounds significantly better on aptx-HD than just aptx. For PC connection, i ordered the Avantree DG80 - hope its a good choice.
I use mine with Sony NW-A105 and Fiio M7 daps. Both support -HD codec and the later can act as PC USB DAC and aptx-HD transmitter at once.

I just ordered a pair which will arrive next week and i have a question regarding MYI:
Are the EQ settings stored in the headphone - so they work also when connected to another device? Or does ist just work together with the phone?
Those settings are stored within the headset and can then be used with any Bluetooth source, without any need for the MIY app (which you only need again if you want to make additionalem changes)
From a Beyerdynamic support document:
„The measured values of the SOUND PROFILE are transmitted from the MIY App to Amiron wireless and stored permanently in the headphone*.“
https://support.beyerdynamic.com/hc...alised-SOUND-PROFILE-feature-in-MIY-App-work-
I‘m sure the other EQ features work the same way

The EQ is implemented within the Bluetooth receiver chipset, so this doesn’t apply to wired mode: electronics are not active in this case. Which is a good thing to me, since it means the Amiron can be used without charge... but I don’t use EQ, so I‘d not notice the difference muchWhat about wired mode?

Hi, when you want a boost lows a bit, have better fit and not lose overall tonality (character) than V770 pads are fine, but YMMV as always.Hi guys...just got this headphone for few days and found it the low are quite thin and the high are harsh....so which Dekoni earpad can fix these issues? because there are too many models and I am confused...thanks

I've ordered Brainwavz (don't remember exact models, You can find it in may posts back in this thread) Sound signature has changed a lot with those pads bass was to pronounced and I've feeling that sound-stage and detail revealing was hit on most. I'm no bass head so maybe you will like that kind of sound presentation.I got it....so any comment or reason why no need Dekoni? just want to know..

OK...will take a look on brainwayz....I am no bass head too but i think Amiron Wireless is really too thin in the low part...I've ordered Brainwavz (don't remember exact models, You can find it in may posts back in this thread) Sound signature has changed a lot with those pads bass was to pronounced and I've feeling that sound-stage and detail revealing was hit on most. by the way does the velour pads for Beyerdynamic EDT 770V very similar to Amiron Wireless original pad?

Maybe it's because the earpads are not properly placed on your ears which loses the bass. I can confirm about the thin sound in the low part. Once the earpads are placed properly, the sound will be much better. Geekria earpads covers will help too, they also protect them.OK...will take a look on brainwayz....I am no bass head too but i think Amiron Wireless is really too thin in the low part...
