Curious about how can perform such little adapter in balanced, without internal power.

Manual upgrade / downgrade is not worthy as it's very risky.

I'll be waiting for it! I like more AK than ESS sound and being so cheap, maybe I'll give it a try too. Thanks for the info!

It is said so. Don't know for sure, but ESS sound (tried LG V30) IMO is "colder" than e.g. ES100. But I listen to lots of rock and metal (maybe with other genres like classical, a more "analytical" DAC would be better).

Well iam using always JetAudio as my favorite music app. I know most of u do not accept this, most of u like balanced outputs, DSD, Flac, but i'am listening only drum and bass: neurofunk. There is not so easy to find flacs, wavs from new releases in this case for me working just 320. In JetAudio i like AM3D and Crystalizer. First one making more 3d bass and second one making music more clean and give more power. Always playing with this two options, since each track is so different and headphones also. Also my v30+ rooted and i found out how to make it play without any hardware not just in aux mode, but with all amp power at any headphones, without 50om limitations. Also about sound can say, easier to find headphones, that can play warmer or colder.
