I looking for a new phone.
I listen music at work with a xonar essence + shure se425
At home I listen with a xonar essence + Adam A3x
Last year, I've lost my ibasso dx90. I think I could'nt find a phone as good as an Ibasso but I'm looking for something neutral for the travels

Price range: 100-400 euros
IEM/ Headphone used: shure se425
Screen size: 4 to 5,5 inch smal smartphone will be great
What kind of sound you wanna get: precise, neutral, analystic. Close to a studio sound.
What kind of music you mainly listen: Orchestra, epic, sometime metal
Special request: an Ess technologie dac or one with neutral response. An original phone should be nice. Avoid apple.

I've found a Meizu pro 7 for 200 euros. Maybe a LG could be nice? Could you help me to find a neutral music phone?

Yes it does , it's more tricky to run dsd on devices than flac

No you shouldnt do that. It is a hell lots of bugs.

Stay simple at android6 or 7 is the best.

Funtouch os is less sexy than Flyme to me, but it is more stable. The sound is amazing for a phone, truely.

Did anyone here listen to Sony's flagships (wm1z or wm1a) and compared them to the Xplay 6?

It's crazy: I am very happy with the Xplay 6, but since I have it, I am more and more tempted to go further soundwise

More black background more 3D more resolute and better vocal.

I think the maximum it can comparable is fiio x5iii /M11

What saddens me is that I suspect the Xplay 6 was the last Xplay produced by Vivo.

Yes. Sony dap is too bassy for me. Ibasso matches with my fitear 335 more.

Take my statement as a first warning and even you get android8, it wont support ldac though.

Better get other phones for ldac.
