For all-in-one audio smartphone, I would recommend xplay6 if you can find a merchant who can import stuffs from china.
But if it is too difficult to find, I think finding DAP is much easier. You can visit Xuan Vu Shop in your city. Probably more convenient than carrying a DAC/AMP with USB cable.

Fiio X5 Gen 3 is a good starter. Other recommendation is Opus 1.

...only if you use it in balanced mode. honestly, fiio x5 iii doesn't sound better than a cheap shanling m1 when using the single ended jack. balanced output is a completely different story, though.

Hi,

Im interested to buy a Fiio K1 USB DAC for my on-the-go purposes considering my LG V10 is very poor on battery life. I carried two phones LG V10 and Nexus 6p. Audio on Nexus 6p are not that great so I was hoping that the Fiio K1 could somehow make it a little bit better so it could be the perfect backup for music listening.

However i mostly listens to music through Spotify extreme quality, does the Fiio K1 works with Spotify or only works for stock music player?
