Well I'm loving this having moved on from my LG V30+ today (Exynos S10+ 512GB + 512GB Black Ceramic). Probably not powerful enough for demanding headphones (don't have any to try).

I was looking for something economic and Seninuevo, and I will use it for the gym, not more than 90-100 €/$
Maybe LG V10 (cheap used, but has hardware durability issues) or V20 (no more issues). But you can find cheap qualitative DAPs too around your budget (Hiby R3, Hidizs AP80...). Tiny devices for the gym. edit : those are more expensive (I didn't realize it, as I crowdfunded the AP80)
It's sold for around 150 euros on this french store : https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/dap-...-384khz-dsd-aptx-bluetooth-black-p-13347.html
For a DAP at around 100 euros, the best offer is maybe https://www.audiophonics.fr/en/dap-...c-es9218p-32bit-384khz-dsd-black-p-12767.html

Hi everyone
I'm looking for phone with a decent sound. Read some of the reviews and recommendations here.

Now there's a choice between meizu pro 6 plus and pro 5. sadly but xplay6 is too hard to find and overly expensive.
I like warmish sound more than cold and even maybe neutral. So pro 5 seems to be a good choice. But pro 6 plus is better in all the other terms, and costs 225$ whereas pro 5 is 300$.

Maybe an eq could make pro 6 plus sound more like pro 5? And is pro 5 worth paying more in your opinion?

I use earbuds mostly and koss porta pro.

Anyone tried one of these 2 phones:

1.Redmi 5 plus.
2.HUAWEI Honor 9 Lite

It's kinda urgent so comments would be helpful :)

Don't know RedMI 5 Plus but I use RedMI Note 5 (international) and the sound is fantastic, despite some negative comments you can find on the web. I can't compare with expensive DAPs but I prefer it to ES100 (and ES100 sounds very good too).

Ah man, some of my problem is that whenever i try to find info on Redmi 5 plus i find millions of Note 5 reviews lol
I don't understand why it's insanely difficult and painful to find audio impressions for a phone, it's the first thing i check in a device.

it's the first thing i check in a device.

Sadly it's the last thing 95% people checks when buying an smartphone...
