iTunes with Multi-Plugin (foobar passthrough) for music.
Windows Media Classic for videos.

I use foobar2000. It does a good job of staying out of the way.

BTW, to the person who said it sounded so good, make sure that when you compare the volumes are constant. I have the feeling you're just noticing that foobar2000 is louder by default.

Check out the Foobar gallery on this forum, Foobar is as plain as you make it.

Foobar for music

VLC for most compressed videos/MPC for .wmv's/Zoomplayer with purevideo for DVD's

Great UI with browser panes and library with support for custom tags and library only fields. Integrated tag editing and secure ripper too. Costs $ 40 but worth it.

iTunes is almost good enough for my mostly classical music library. MC 11 is much more flexible.

I use winamp also and dont know if I am geting all the benifits of my 1212 card? Should I also be using Foobar in order to get asio support? Am I able to get asio output with winamp, I have not found a setting to change. Does Foobar sound better than Winamp?

The volume was constant. It was the first thing I checked when I heard it. Back to Back, atleast with this onboard soundcard on the desktop, WMP sound really veiled in comparison...

The difference was definitly noticeable. The EQ also isn't crap compared to most EQs....
