Ok here's the deal I'm 15 years old and I have seen other threads and I really don't like wood. I want headphones that are very good looking with good sound quality and I intend to use them for my iPod. My max is $300 unless they are exceptionally good/good looking. I don't really want Beats by Dr. Dre because I want something that others don't have, and I also want/prefer full-sized headphones other on-ear. NO skullcandy, they might look ok but they are cheap.

I was thinking about either these 3:

I also like the AKG Q701 but I heard it ain't closed back and it isn't good with iPods. Has anybody tried an Orca by Razer with an iPod?

EDIT: Woops, didn't read the thread completely... If you are lookng for full sized, I suggest posting in the full-sized section of the forums.

I was able to take a quick listen to the beyers and thought they were sweet; LOVED the liquidity of the bass. Although I tried the 80ohm version on a pretty expensive rig, so it may not sound the same through an ipod.
If you shop around, they can be had for about $150 when on sale

I have the DT770 and they are very nice, I like them a lot. incredible bass that isnt overly boomy or bloated, it just seems like it belongs, but it is very big bass. they arent much of a headturner though, and they arent portable at all. a good one to look at would be the ATH M50. I heard it briefly and liked it alot, but I personally had my sights set on my beyers. another that I havent personally heard would be the Phiaton MS400. if you dont mind supra-aural, or are okay with bass thats good but not massive, the B&W P5 are a very nice, great looking choice. lastly, sound quality is decent, on them, and they look pretty good, V-moda Crossfades might work for you. sorry if im just dropping headphones on you, but I'm doing my best to help
