Best IEM tips?

Completely agreed. T300T is my reference eartip, the only one that I carry with me to head-fi shows. It fits every IEM I put it on, fits every person that tries it on, is extremely durable, and makes every IEM sound as good as it can be. The only flaw is the price.

I was about to praise Spinfit W1 for being the best tips I tried so far... but they are now barely holding on a nozzle.
And they used to be really tough to put on when I first got them! Anyone had such experience? I was wonder what happened. Some kind of reaction with oil from skin that made them this loose?

Could be if you change eartips a lot and the thicker the nozzle, the more those tips will change their shape. Do you use IEMs outside as well?

Outdoor? Oh yes, for sure. But they stay in ear, shouldn't be much of a temperature variation.
I heard that soft/sticky silicone tips don't last, but a couple of months... that's crazy short, especially since they are one of the more expensive ones.

That's disappointing for expensive Spinfits. You could as well buy Feaulle from AE instead. I wonder how long Dunu S&S will last. They are very good so far.
Oh yeah, I ordered those myself. But they say it's a hard silicone, so they should last. Probably.

Many different things can cause tips to get loose. As mentioned earlier, temperature and usage (changing) are factors to consider. Also, yes, the softness of the material, whether foam or silicone/rubber plays a role in durability. We haven't noticed changes in quality with spin fit lately so it might be a mechanical issue. We are looking forward to more info.

That’s part of the reason I switched to Softears Liquid Silicone Ear Tips. The Azla SednaEarFit XELASTEC just don’t last. I found the Softears sounded really close and in some ways even better than the Azla SednaEarFit XELASTEC and they last much longer.

I actually had to return those because they totally butchered sound for me. Still don't know what it was, prolly something personal. Finding best fitting tips is hard bro...

It's one of the most time-consuming things in this hobby. Do you also feel like each pair of earphones works best with different tips? It just never ends...

When tip rolling - if the tips make a good seal in your ears - do you find that the bore or core material makes the most noticeable difference in sound stage and bass?

Its hard to go by general aspects. I own wide bore tips that can totally nullify the bass (Tennmak Whirlwind) while other boosts the midbass (BGVP W01).

As harmanish tunings are so common now, most IEMs I own are too vocal forward or too bassy. Thats why my favorite tip are Whizzers, especially the SS20. I think it balances out that kind of tuning pretty well
